screentime.games is made by Sam Edwards, a software developer and parent of two, who started it to turn his kids' weekly spelling lists into something they would actually ask to play. The games are built around what a child is already learning, and the rule that shaped every screen is that a child should never see an ad, a lock, or a nudge to buy anything.
Parents and teachers can make a game from a list in about thirty seconds at /free, and teachers can send a link to a whole class from /teachers.
